Many students who have difficulties with reading, math, or writing have been evaluated in school (or by a private psychologist) for some type of special education services, Encompass teachers ask you to email or snail mail those results first. We  review the testing, and any supporting documents, and then talk with you how your child is performing. Usually this is two or three simple tests that take about 1 and 1/2 hours. The results are written up and emailed to you at a cost of $100.00, payable as one-half prior to testing and one-half prior to receiving the report. 

If your child has not been evaluated in school or by a private psychologist, we may recommend some outside testing prior to our instruction-based testing. We can even work with a psychologist in your area about the kinds of tests that would be helpful, yet provide cost-savings for you.
